SB-UF/PP6 treats uterine fibroids in pregnant women to reduce fibroid size and dissolve fibroids.

     Uterine fibroid is a very common finding in pregnant women of reproductive age. Fibroids grow rapidly during the first 3 months of pregnancy. PP6 resists the rapid growth of uterine fibroids under the influence of hormones during pregnancy. PP6 is used to stabilize estrogen levels and dissolve fibroids.

     This is a significant new insight into the pathogenesis of the disease, with a clear path towards clinical application, or will lead to a significant and complete advance in patient management or public health policy to reduce the rate of miscarriage and preterm birth due to uterine fibroids during pregnancy.
